OK, I'll try not to be a smarta$$. I didn't personally know MLK. He held a peaceful march within sight of my house, but I don't remember seeing him. I saw him many times on television. He was human. He had a powerful thought, that people should be judged by their personal qualities, not their race. I extremely agree with this. That leaves no room for critical race theory. I don't mind serious discussions of race relations. I've lived this stuff. MLK had it right.
