I'll only give a hint on this. If NUG wants to militarily win that civil war, they had better develop an area of relative safety where they can park their air force.
As per Thailand helping NUG, don't hold your breath. The winners of their elections are having an exceedingly difficult time turning the election results into a practical victory. And the less powerful a new government is, the less likely they will be able to meaningfully help NUG. Thailand will spend a long time coping with its own problems.
There is only one big advantage for NUG using New Zealand as a mentor: NZ is directly tied into the 5 Eyes intelligence network. They can get the best of the best foreign intelligence on a timely basis from America and Britain.
