Comey denies charges, declares 'I am not afraid'

Of course he's not afraid. He's one of the top guys, if not "the" top guy, in the American Deep State. Prosecuting this guy is like prosecuting a gangster boss in the 1930s. When a jury was all bribed out, they had to switch juries to an alternate jury.

If he gets convicted, he may use a stunt double to serve out his time, paid for by US taxpayers. And he could still run things from jail.

And a further complicating factor: The American intelligence community was created in the image and likeness of the British. We played together. The British were heavily infiltrated by the Soviets. The British MI-6 chief for coping with the Soviets, Kim Philby, actually worked for the Soviets. The British public lost interest in tracking Soviet spies at the "Cambridge 5".  No number 6 made the newspapers.

Kim Philby's best American friend, James Angleton, was never charged with working for the Soviets. He was fired instead. Not a bad outcome for him, having put together the JFK assassination.

The question today is how many American intelligence people are working for the Soviets? Since we don't know, we have to keep extra soldiers in Ukraine. Thank you James Comey.
