Senate push to reauthorize nation’s spy powers stumbles over controversial Trump decision

This centers on the replacement for Tuksi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence by Trump's choice of Bill Pulte to replace her.

Gabbard's intention to resign just shows her basic honesty. I'm not reading of any mainstream news channels offering to continue her dynasty on TV. George Washington's salute to democracy was his resignation.

Congress wants a spy master in charge, and Trump is offering America an administrator instead.

Gabbard's got a life to live. Trump should offer her extensive home life privileges, and appoint Pulte, known for his massive administrative skills, as Gabbard's second in command, to handle administrative affairs. Beef up Gabbard's security to keep the Deep State from assassinating her. Appoint other helpers as necessary to entice Gabbard to stay.

We've still got time. See if this will work.
